For cost-effective production and to simplify handling, we recommend that the following points are taken into consideration when designing precision profile strips:

• A cutting burr is produced during milling, depending on the alloy and the milling geometry. A flank angle of ≤ 65°, or alternatively a flank angle of up to 88° and a chamfer or radius ≥ 0.05 mm is necessary at the milling flanks in order to reduce or avoid this burr (see Drawing 1, detail X)!

Further geometries are possible by agreement.
